Shoulder Clicking When Reaching - Help Appreciated

Hi everyone, I've been using this wellness portal for a while now, but I'm looking for some advice on a shoulder issue I've been having. I work out 5 days a week, focusing on strength training and calisthenics. Lately, I've noticed my left shoulder clicks when I reach for things, especially after resting. It usually stops after moving it a few times. There's no real pain, just a slight ache at the top of my shoulder near the outer deltoid when I fully extend my arm. My range of motion is fine and I can still do overhead presses without issues. I'm not sure if this is from joint stress, rotator cuff problems, or something else. Has anyone dealt with something similar? Did you find anything that helped? Should I be concerned about this getting worse? Any insights would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you might have some minor shoulder impingement. Try incorporating rotator cuff exercises and shoulder mobility work into your routine. If it persists or worsens, consider seeing a physical therapist for a proper assessment and tailored exercises.

Have you tried incorporating shoulder mobility exercises into your routine? I find gentle circular movements and stretches can work wonders for shoulder clicks. Also, consider adding some anti-inflammatory foods to your diet, like turmeric or ginger. Listen to your body and don't push too hard!
