Other than 650 mg of calcium in the form of calcium citrate per serving (2 tablets), it also has 25 mcg (1000 IU) of Vitamin D3 and micronutrients to support bone health: zinc, copper & manganese. Quite convenient as there’s no need to take calcium & vitamin D3 supplement separately. The tablet size is on the larger side & the direction is 2 tablets twice daily (4 tablets/day) which feels a lot. It can be taken with or without food & so far I had no issue with upset stomach.

I didn’t love the taste of the Citracal maximum plus vitamins. They were a bit big to swallow. I would take them once in the morning with food and once at night with food. It did make me feel a little nauseous after taking it. I usually take 10,000 iof vitamin d and this only had 500iu’s .

before trying this product I used to take many different supplements including zinc, calcium, D3, etc.. but this product has many of them in one tablet. I have taken this tablet for almost 2 months instead of other calcium supplments. after having my blood test I did't see any negative changes in results like calcium. even there is some improvements. I have sensitive stomach but this supplement didn't give me any hard time.
