I have been taking this product for about a month now. I really like it. I have taken others in the past the hurt my stomach, but this one did not. The pills are large so if that bothers you, you might want to pass on this one. Overall a great product.
I actually have a Vitamin D deficiency and I’m glad that the Citracal Maximum Plus contains it. I am being proactive with my health as I get older, so for me adding supplements to achieve this goal is beneficial. I like that the Citracal Maximum Plus came in a large bottle. While the pills are large, they can be cut in half to make smaller. I had no issue with swallowing the pills whole.
I was so excited to receive these but then saw the size of the pills and realized you should be taking 4 pills a day, which just seems like a lot, considering they aren’t small pills. I tried taking 2 a day and had no issues but can’t tell the long term effects. Overall, I’d go with a chewable supplement or something that’s easier to take.
I have no complaints about this supplement. I’m usually pretty sensitive to supplements but this one didn’t cause an upset stomach or any ill effects. As I’m aging I like to take supplements that support bone health.
Overall good product, but way way too big in pill form. I would have preferred the caplets or gummies. Love that it's easily absorbed and doesn't cause any digestive issues for me. All the other vitamins and minerals added for extra bone health support is a plus. I plan to purchase in the future [gummies].
I’m not to sure how to review this since it will take time to show results. However, I’m all about anything that helps with my health. They are kinda lager pills but I think the benefits will be well worth it.
to be honest I didn't notice a difference while taking this it is kinda hard to review it with these kind of products it is hard to review but I didn't notice any side effects of taking it either
It’s really hard to review a supplement without having blood work done before and after. But as for ease of taking it, taste, etc. I didn’t have any issues! If you are in need of a calcium supplement, this is a great option in my opinion.
One of the things I like the most about this product is that it does not taste gross or leave an aftertaste. Most other calcium pills I take stink amd are gross.
Other than 650 mg of calcium in the form of calcium citrate per serving (2 tablets), it also has 25 mcg (1000 IU) of Vitamin D3 and micronutrients to support bone health: zinc, copper & manganese. Quite convenient as there’s no need to take calcium & vitamin D3 supplement separately. The tablet size is on the larger side & the direction is 2 tablets twice daily (4 tablets/day) which feels a lot. It can be taken with or without food & so far I had no issue with upset stomach.
