Incorporating daily squats into my routine - seeking advice on variations for muscle growth
Hi everyone, I'm Harold and I've been using this health portal to improve my wellness journey. I've gotten really into bodyweight exercises lately, especially squats. I've been doing 100 regular squats every day as a warmup to boost my stamina. Now I'm wondering about adding in some harder variations to target specific muscles and promote hypertrophy. For example, I'm thinking of alternating between:
Day 1: 100 regular squats + pistol squats
Day 2: 100 wide squats + lunges
And repeating this 7 days a week. As someone in their 50s looking to stay fit, does this seem like a good approach? Will I see muscle growth from this kind of daily squat routine with variations? Any tips or modifications you'd suggest? Thanks in advance for any advice!
