Thoughts on zero-calorie sports drinks for hydration during workouts?

As someone who works out regularly, I'm wondering about using zero-calorie electrolyte drinks during exercise. Are they a good option for staying hydrated without extra calories? Or are they not ideal due to artificial sweeteners? What are the pros and cons compared to plain water or regular sports drinks? Looking for opinions on whether they're a helpful fitness tool or better to avoid. Thanks!

Zero-calorie sports drinks can be helpful for hydration and electrolyte replenishment, especially during intense workouts. However, some artificial sweeteners may cause digestive issues. I prefer alternating between water and electrolyte drinks based on workout intensity. For most moderate exercise, plain water is usually sufficient.

Zero-calorie sports drinks can be good for hydration and electrolyte replenishment without extra calories. However, some people may be sensitive to artificial sweeteners. They're a decent option for longer workouts, but plain water is often sufficient for shorter sessions. Consider your individual needs and how your body responds.
