Unexpected joy during meditation - what's happening?
Hey everyone, I started meditating about a month ago as part of my wellness journey. Today something amazing happened that I wanted to share!
During my session, I suddenly began feeling incredibly happy and peaceful. The feeling gradually intensified over time. It was such an incredible experience - my first big 'wow' moment with meditation. My mind was a bit scattered, but I managed to stay focused on the blissful feeling. I felt a brief moment of anxiety near the end, but then returned to that space of joy.
Is this a common experience? Should I take it as a positive sign? Part of me is thrilled and wants to shout it from the rooftops, while another part wonders if I should temper my excitement.
