As someone who has been practicing meditation regularly for the past few years, I'm curious about the benefits of longer meditation sessions. I usually do 15-20 minute sits, but I've heard that longer sessions can be more impactful. For those who have experience with extended meditation, what advantages have you noticed? Is it simply a matter of more time spent in practice, or does the quality of the meditation change in longer sits?
