Exercise program for maintaining my weight loss journey
As a 45-year-old woman who's gone from size 24 to 12 with Zotrim, I want to maintain my health and weight loss for the long-term. Here's my current exercise program - I'd love your thoughts on how to optimize it for longevity!
Monday:
30 min brisk walking
3 sets of 10 squats
2 sets of 10 push-ups (modified on knees)
3 sets of 10 lunges each leg
Wednesday:
30 min swimming
3 sets of 10 bicep curls with light weights
2 sets of 10 tricep dips
3 sets of 30 second planks
Friday:
30 min stationary bike
3 sets of 10 leg presses
2 sets of 10 shoulder presses with light weights
3 sets of 20 crunches
Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday:
45 min yoga or pilates class
Sunday:
Rest day
I'm focusing on a mix of cardio and strength training. How can I improve this routine to support my continued health and weight maintenance as I age? Any suggestions are appreciated!
