Hey everyone! I've been working on my arm strength through yoga and can hold crow pose for about 30 seconds now. I'm wondering if this will translate to pull-ups at all? I can currently do about 3-4 pull-ups max.
I've been trying to incorporate both yoga and pull-up training into my routine, but it feels like they're competing for my arm strength/recovery. I'm thinking of alternating focus between yoga and pull-ups every few weeks.
When I focus on yoga, I see great progress in my arm balances. But when I switch back to pull-ups, I feel like I've lost some strength there. I'm not really noticing much carry-over benefit.
For those of you who can already do some pull-ups, have you found arm balance yoga to significantly help? Or should I just focus more directly on pull-up training? Curious to hear others' experiences!
