My Medication Regimen - Feeling Overwhelmed

Hey everyone, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with my current medication regimen and could use some perspective. I'm currently taking several medications for various mental health and physical issues, including antidepressants, mood stabilizers, anti-anxiety meds, and others. My doctors are even considering adding more or increasing doses. While I feel okay during the day, I crash hard in the late afternoon and experience anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. I've maxed out my therapy options, so I'm stuck dealing with meds. Does this seem like too much to anyone else? I'm worried I may be over-medicated by the system after multiple hospitalizations and psychiatrists. Any thoughts or similar experiences would be appreciated.

It sounds like you're dealing with a complex situation. Have you considered getting a second opinion from another psychiatrist? They might offer a fresh perspective on your medication regimen and help address your concerns about over-medication. Don't hesitate to advocate for yourself and express your worries to your healthcare team.

I understand your concern. It's crucial to communicate these feelings to your doctors. They can reassess your regimen, considering potential interactions and side effects. Don't hesitate to seek a second opinion if you're unsure. Remember, your well-being is the priority.
