Help! My yogurt says no added sugar but lists sugar as an ingredient?
Hey fellow health-conscious folks! I'm trying to find a good yogurt option for myself that's low in added sugars but not super high in protein. I came across this vanilla yogurt that has me confused. The nutrition label says 0g added sugars, but then sugar is listed right there in the ingredients! How is this possible? The label breaks down like this: Total Carbs: 14g Dietary Fiber: 0g Total Sugars: 10g Added Sugars: 0g But the ingredients include 'cultured pasteurized grade A nonfat milk, modified food starch, SUGAR, natural flavor, sucralose, vanilla extract' plus some vitamins. Can anyone explain how they can include sugar but claim zero added sugar? I'm trying to make good choices here and this is throwing me for a loop!Verified Customer
