Experiencing strange visions during meditation - seeking holistic insights

Kia ora wellness warriors! 🌿✨ I'm hoping to tap into our collective wisdom about an unusual experience I've been having during my evening meditation and relaxation practices. When I close my eyes to center myself, I often see vivid and sometimes unsettling imagery. These visions can be quite intense - not at all the peaceful nature scenes I try to visualize! It's been disrupting my sleep and making me hesitant to fully relax into my practice. I've experimented with different essential oils and crystal placements, but haven't found the right energetic balance yet. A fellow yogi suggested it might be similar to sleep paralysis, but I can easily open my eyes and end the visions if needed. Has anyone in our holistic community encountered something like this or have thoughts on how to transmute this energy more positively? I'm wondering if there are any natural remedies or mindfulness techniques that could help harmonize my inner eye. Sending gratitude for any insights you can share on this journey! Namaste 🙏
