Concerned about my (38M) financial future with my partner (35F)

My partner (35F) and I (38M) have been together for 5 years. I work part-time as a personal trainer and she has a full-time corporate job. We've been talking about moving in together when our leases end soon, but I'm worried about our financial compatibility. I'm passionate about fitness and enjoy the flexibility of my current job, which lets me pursue my interests in music and sports on the side. However, I only make around $25/hour for 20-25 hours a week. My partner makes a lot more with her salaried position. I try to be frugal and keep my expenses low, mostly eating simple meals at home. My partner seems to want more - nicer dates, gifts, etc. She's hinted that she thinks I should look for a higher-paying full-time job, but I'm hesitant to give up the freedom of my current lifestyle. I don't have much savings or financial stability. Growing up without much money, I'm used to living paycheck-to-paycheck. But I worry this is straining our relationship. My partner values financial security more than I do. I love her and want a future together, but I'm not sure how to bridge this gap in our financial attitudes and goals. Should I try to change my approach to work and money? Or are we fundamentally incompatible? Looking for advice on how to navigate this situation as we consider taking the next step in our relationship.

Lost a Close Friend After a Misunderstanding About My Wellness Course

I'm really struggling with the loss of a close friend and fellow wellness enthusiast. We met about 5 years ago through our shared interest in holistic health. We even went on a wellness retreat together last year. She was supposed to attend my wedding celebration, but two weeks before, she texted saying she wasn't coming anymore. I tried to reach out, but got no response. The only thing I can think of is that there was a misunderstanding about one of my wellness courses. She had been interested in taking my 30-day detox program, which used to be available for direct signup. Recently, I changed it to require a consultation call first. The price also increased to reflect the personalized coaching. She signed up, but there was a scheduling mix-up with the consultation. When she didn't receive the full materials right away, she requested a refund. I'm really confused and hurt that this seems to have ended our friendship. I always try to act with integrity in my wellness business. I never meant to offend her. I wish she had talked to me about any concerns. I'm not sure if I should try to reach out again or just let it go. Has anyone else experienced losing a friend over a business misunderstanding? How did you handle it?

Why am I not experiencing forearm issues from pull-ups like others?

Hey everyone, Kurt here. I've been doing pull-ups and other bodyweight exercises for a while now as part of my wellness routine. One thing I've noticed is that a lot of people seem to develop forearm pain or issues from doing pull-ups, but I haven't experienced this myself. For context, I've worked physical jobs in the past, so my grip strength was already pretty good when I started bodyweight fitness. That said, I know my strength is probably imbalanced since I don't do specific wrist or finger extensor work. I've had some hand, thumb, and wrist discomfort from working out, but never actual forearm pain. It's interesting to me how some folks can be doing regular weighted pull-ups and suddenly wake up with nagging forearm issues. Meanwhile, I can spend all day gripping things, do weighted pull-ups, climb, etc. and at worst end up with tight wrists. I feel like I'm constantly pushing the limits with my forearms, bordering on overtraining them, but not getting the same issues others report. Anyone else have similar experiences or insights on why this might be? Curious to hear your thoughts!
