Need recommendations for sleep mask that works for stomach sleepers
Hi everyone,
I'm looking for advice on finding a good sleep mask. I recently started using blackout curtains at home and it's made a huge difference in my sleep quality. However, I travel frequently and often stay in shared hostel rooms where I can't control the lighting.
I've tried basic cotton sleep masks before but found them uncomfortable - they put pressure on my eyes and would fall off during the night. I'm a light sleeper and move around a lot, usually sleeping on my stomach.
I've read mixed reviews about some popular masks like the Manta Sleep Mask. Has anyone found a mask that works well for stomach sleepers? I'm based in Europe but open to any recommendations regardless of price, as long as it's effective.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Help incorporating pull-ups into my yoga and fitness routine
Hi everyone! I've been doing yoga and light strength training for a while now, but I'd really like to challenge myself and build more upper body strength. My goal is to be able to do pull-ups as part of a more holistic fitness routine focused on functional movements.
I'm looking to incorporate exercises for:
- Pulling movements (vertical and horizontal)
- Pushing movements (vertical and horizontal)
- Squats and lunges
- Core work
The issue is, I can't do a single pull-up yet! I've seen some videos on pull-up progressions with exercises like scapular pulls, negative pull-ups, and dead hangs. They suggest doing max reps of full pull-ups (zero for me), then negatives, then other assistance exercises.
My question is - should I do a mini pull-up progression workout as my 'pulling' exercise? Or would it be better to focus on other pulling movements until I build more strength? I'd love to hear what's worked for others in a similar situation. Thanks in advance for any advice!
