I couldn’t believe that snorex could actually resolve my snoring..I’m getting my sleep without waking up..and my husband too…this was recommended to me by friend’s and I’m so happy I actually listened to them. Definitely would recommend to everyone who has a problem with snoring…

I purchased this product because the custom made Silent Nite product that I bought from my dentist and used for years broke. The SnoreRX Plus looked well built, had a custom fit, was adjustable, and was far less expensive. It does reduce snoring but is somewhat bulky and it makes it difficult to close your mouth while sleeping with it. In order to clean it well, the unit needs to be disassembled which just takes a little longer during my morning routine. My mouthpiece from my dentist has since been repaired and I have switched back to it, but I will continue to use the Snore RX as a backup mouthpiece.
I was prescribed a SomnoGuard mandibular advancement device (MAD) several years ago by my ENT. I used one for about 3 years. My Medicare Advantage plan paid a good bit on this, until I changed plans and the ENT for some reason would only sell me a noncovered device for full retail ($700+). I looked online for an alternative. My research lead me several different devices. The SnoreRX seemed to be the closest alternative in structure and operation to the SomnoGuard so I decided to try it. Much less expensive, thankfully, as I am not getting any insurance coverage. The SnoreRX seems to work pretty well. Because I already knew about MAD operation and had used the SomnoGuard, I adapted quickly to the SnoreRX. It seems to work just about as well. I note the following differences: (1) the tooth impressions are not as deep as the SomnoGuard, so the SnoreRX does not hold as firmly to the teeth; (2) there is something about the hinge at the back that irritates my gum on one side, I think the hinge has a protrusion that rubs or catches some of my gum; I do not know if I will adapt to this; (3) the SomnoGuard allows for more lateral movement of the jaw, which the SnoreRX does not; it helps to have a bit more lateral movement: (4) the adjustment feature is a little tricky, but not too bad, I had to fiddle with it. But overall, I intend to keep with the SnoreRX as long as it remains affordable … I hope they can make some minor improvements as suggested.
