1. Cuddle with my cat and focus on her purrs and soft fur
2. Put my phone away and practice mindfulness meditation
3. Take a quiet walk in nature by myself
4. Take a short power nap (30-60 mins)
5. Upon waking, really tune into that refreshed feeling
When stress hits, I try to pause and recall that refreshed state. It takes practice but gets easier.
The key is realizing there's no actual threat, just be present. Look for beauty around you to shift your mindset. Recognize when your emotional reserves are low and intentionally recharge through relaxation, connection, or healthy stress release.
