Help Improving Deep Sleep

Hi everyone, I recently read that getting enough deep sleep may help reduce the risk of dementia as we age. This has me a bit worried, since my Fitbit consistently shows my deep sleep levels are on the low side. Does anyone have tips or tricks for increasing deep sleep? I've tried things like avoiding screens before bed and keeping my room cool and dark, but I'm not seeing much improvement. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
