72-year-old struggling with sleep - any advice on strong but safe sleep aids?
I've been taking melatonin supplements for the past few months, but they don't seem to be effective anymore. Are there any stronger sleep medications that are still safe for seniors to use long-term? I'm concerned about side effects like cognitive decline. I've already tried all the usual sleep hygiene tips without much success.
