Confused about nutrition label on my grass-fed steak
Hey wellness community! I recently bought a grass-fed peppered angus round steak from my local health food store. I'm trying to track my macros carefully, but the nutrition label is throwing me off. It says there's 70g of carbs and only 13g of protein per 4oz serving. The only ingredients listed are beef and black pepper. This doesn't seem right for a steak. Am I misunderstanding something about grass-fed beef nutrition? I'm aiming for a high-protein, lower-carb diet to support my fitness goals, so I want to make sure I'm logging this correctly.
