Weird heart sensations - propranolol side effect or anxiety?
Hey everyone, I started taking 10mg propranolol daily last week for my anxiety and heart palpitations. Now I'm constantly aware of my heartbeat and can feel it throbbing in my gums, ears, and jaw. There's also a fluttering sensation in my chest that won't go away. I went to urgent care and my ECG was normal, but blood tests showed I was a bit dehydrated. I'm so frustrated with this feeling! The urgent care doc said to keep taking the propranolol, but my regular doctor said to stop. Has anyone else experienced something similar? I can't tell if it's a medication side effect or just my anxiety acting up. Any advice would be appreciated!
