How do I (32M) add more romance to my relationship without seeming pushy?

My girlfriend is amazing and we have a great relationship. She shows me she cares in lots of little ways every day. But when it comes to special occasions like birthdays or our anniversary, there's not much fanfare or celebration. I don't need anything fancy or expensive. It's more about wanting to feel special and appreciated on those milestone days. Even just a thoughtful card or planning a nice night in together would mean a lot. I guess I'm looking for ways to make those occasions feel a bit more romantic and memorable. But I'm not sure how to bring this up without seeming ungrateful for everything else she does, or like I'm asking for too much. Any advice on how to have this conversation in a positive way? Or am I overthinking this whole thing? I'd appreciate any insights on how to approach this sensitively.
