Hi everyone, I'm a bit concerned about my current medication regimen and could use some advice. My doctor recently prescribed me Adderall (twice daily), Propranolol (twice daily), and Xanax (as needed). I'm worried about potential interactions between these medications, especially their effects on heart function. Should I be spacing out when I take each one? Is it okay to take them close together or right after one another? I'd really appreciate any insights from those with experience taking these medications together. Thanks in advance for your help!
Incorporating animals into my mindfulness practice
As someone deeply committed to holistic wellness, I've recently adapted my loving-kindness meditation to include more animal recipients. While I don't have pets, I make an effort to direct 50% of my compassionate thoughts towards animals - from a neighbor's cat I've seen photos of to wild birds in my area.
For the 'challenging individual' part of the practice, I may focus on an insect that makes me uncomfortable. This approach helps me expand my circle of compassion and overcome my human-centric biases. It aligns with my belief in the interconnectedness of all beings and their right to wellbeing.
I'm curious if others on this wellness journey have experimented with including animals in their mindfulness or compassion practices. How has it impacted your overall sense of connection and wellbeing?
