I've been experiencing severe fatigue for about 9 months now, ever since a period of intense stress and physical exertion in my life. The fatigue came on gradually at first, along with a feeling of internal burning. After a couple months, I had what I'd describe as a 'collapse' - feeling like I'd been hit by a train, unable to do much, with a racing heart rate from even minor activity.
I saw a doctor who found some mild inflammation in my labs but attributed it to stress. The fatigue hasn't improved though, and now I'm dealing with worsening anxiety, chronic muscle tension, and nausea on top of it. I'm starting to worry this could be chronic fatigue syndrome.
Has anyone else dealt with stress-induced fatigue that's lasted this long? Or does this sound more like CFS? I'm really struggling and could use some advice or support from others who've been through something similar. Trying to stay positive but it's getting harder. Any tips for managing these symptoms would be much appreciated.
