Hey everyone! I've been dealing with a nasty cold lately and wanted to share what's been helping me recover. In the past, I've struggled with colds turning into bronchitis, so I'm being extra cautious this time. I've been loading up on immune-boosting nutrients like zinc, vitamin D3, and vitamin C. I'm also taking a superfood supplement, garlic capsules, and B12 for energy. Staying hydrated with tons of water and electrolyte drinks, plus eating lots of protein-rich fish.
I'm curious - what are your go-to remedies when you catch a cold? And do you typically pause your regular exercise/physical therapy routines while recovering, or keep them up? I've been continuing my PT exercises but am wondering if I should take a break. Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences! Thanks in advance for any advice.
I swear by elderberry syrup and echinacea tea when fighting a cold. I also reduce my exercise intensity but keep moving with gentle yoga and walks. Rest is crucial, so don't push yourself too hard. Get well soon!
